Who we are

Ideaful (ideaful.io) is run by Horizio, the business of Dylan Halder, at Lange Nobelstraat 5A, 4301 HD Zierikzee, the Netherlands (KvK 70708126 · VAT NL002387616B36). "We" and "us" on this page means Horizio. You can reach us at dylan@dylanhalder.com.

What Ideaful is

Ideaful is a tool for forming and testing ideas. You type a thought and an AI suggests related ideas, merges ideas, plays critics, researches what already exists, and writes briefs. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Your account

  • You need an account for most of Ideaful. Give a real email address you can receive mail at: we send it a code to confirm it.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account per person. You must be at least 16, or old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. That removes your account, spaces, notes and credits for good. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Credits

  • AI actions (Spark, Deep Spark, Merge, Review, Research, Brief) cost credits. What each one costs is shown on the homepage. Placing thoughts, notes, links, spaces and 3D are free.
  • A new account gets free credits once its email is confirmed. Visitors without an account can try one free spark a day.
  • If an action brings nothing back, its credits are returned automatically.
  • Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and are only for use in Ideaful.

Plans and payment

  • Plans are monthly subscriptions that add credits each month. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
  • A plan renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Cancel any time under Manage subscription in the account menu: it stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, and isn't renewed after that.
  • Credits you don't use roll over into the next month and stay yours for its first week, then lapse.
  • Prices are the ones shown at checkout. If we change a price, we'll tell you beforehand, and it only applies from your next renewal.

Your right to withdraw (EU)

If you're a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of your first payment by emailing dylan@dylanhalder.com. We'll refund that payment, minus the value of any credits you already used from it. Renewals after the first month aren't covered by this right, but you can cancel before any renewal as described above.

What you put in, and what comes out

  • Your thoughts, notes and spaces are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as far as needed to run Ideaful for you: for example, sending a thought to our AI provider to get ideas back.
  • Ideas, reviews, research and briefs made for you are yours to use as you like.
  • The AI can be wrong, out of date, or unoriginal. Research results may miss things or misdescribe them. Nothing Ideaful produces is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Fair use

Please don't:

  • use Ideaful for anything illegal, or to create content that's hateful, harassing or harmful;
  • try to get around credits, limits or the free spark, for example with many accounts or automated requests;
  • attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or resell access to it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Where it's fair to, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to fix it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Ideaful running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that matters to you, like to these terms, we'll say so on the site or by email before it takes effect.

Liability

Ideaful is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits or lost opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law, or liability for intent or gross negligence.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms. If you're a consumer elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of your own country. If something goes wrong, email us first at dylan@dylanhalder.com and we'll try to sort it out.
